INSPECTED VEHICLE WITH TECH. VERIFIED RF OUTER TIE ROD END AND RF INNER TIE ROD END BOTH HAVE EXCESSIVE VISIBLE SLACK PRESENT, LF OUTER TIE ROD END HAS MINOR SLACK PRESENT. TECH SUSPECTS SOME OF PLAY PRESENT IN RF INNER TIE ROD END IS ACTUALLY THE RACK AND PINION BUT NOTHING COULD BE SHOWN ASIDE FROM SLACK IN TIE ROD END. VEHICLE IN SHOP LESS THAN 100 MILES AGO ON 8-16-22 FOR SAME CONCERN AND TECH RECOMMENDED RACK AND PINION. REPAIR DECLINED. ALL BOOTS INTACT. OIL LEVEL WAS NOT CHECKED DUE TO THE DIPSTICK BEING SEIZED IN TUBE, I WAS NOT WILLING TO RISK BREAKING, THERE IS SLUDGE VISIBLE IN THE OIL FILL PORT.

Cause of Failure
RF OUTER, LF OUTER, RF INNER TIE ROD ENDS ALL WORN WITH SLACK PRESENT.
